They follow the journey of Esme Witbooi, born in the Cape Flats, Cape Town in the heart of gangsters, violence and crime, whose life turned out like a fairy-tale. Growing up there, living in a shack with siblings, presented serious life risks to her. She escaped into studying a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree and Postgraduate Diploma, all at the University of Cape Town over five years. She ventured into the world to start a career with the top Cruise line companies, namely: Oceania Cruise Line; Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line, Holland America Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Line which allowed her to travel and see the world living and working in over 65 counties. She was on top of the world until returning to South Africa in 2018 where she is now recognised as one of the top Executive Business Coaches in South Africa. When you listened to her story, you find inspiration how an ordinary lady from a disadvantaged background could overcome challenges and turned out as one of the key persons of influence in her industry as a valuable entrepreneur.
